Sam’s One Tree Stop Night Market
March 15, 2018
“The earliest to arrive and the last one to leave. You guys should get a medal next time!”, the market organizer jokes. Well- yes! Fundraising is a crucial part of our work because not only does it gives us an opportunity to raise funds but also provides us a platform to raise awareness about dog welfare issues and the role of humane education in combating the problem.
We successfully raised Rs 10,195, and spoke with many people as well the as the local vendors about our cause. Thank you to our hardworking volunteers Aachal, Aadesh and Rubina for helping during the weekend. Huge thanks to One Tree Stop for letting us be a part of the night market. And we are very grateful everyone who stopped by!

women of the world (wow) festival
February 17, 2018
A project primarily run by women, we were proud to represent the humane education sector in Nepal at the WOW (Women of the World) festival organized by the British Council.
We set up our booth with our adorable dog/cat themed merchandise. Many commended us on our efforts of introducing humane education in Nepali schools. There were a few skeptics but a wide smile, bright face and kind words never fail to get our point across!
Thank you to everyone who stopped by and supported our cause!

The Local Market
December 9, 2017
December was a month full of Christmas Bazaars all around town, mostly selling local and handmade products. We at Project Humane Nepal also put up our merchandise display table in few of these markets to raise funds for our cause by selling adorable animal-themed stationery products. One of the fairs we participated in was the ‘The Local Market’ organized by The Local Project and Evoke café and Bistro in Jhamsikhel, where locally made products are featured and promoted during brunch hours. We were successful in raising funds and awareness by selling our animal themed journals, totes, mugs, badges and magnets. We were also featured in an article in ECS magazine about the weekend market.
Thank you to Samraggi and Rubina for helping to set up our table, and to everyone who stopped by our booth!
